Our inner reality is at the center of interest in the practices and teachings of yoga. The mind is key as the manifest reality emerges from consciousness. We experience that with a clearer mind we become more purposeful, powerful and peaceful. The more mature our practice becomes, the less we stumble into situations. The path of yoga is firmly rooted in its sources, the Vedas. They can be understood as the essence of human knowledge from very ancient times. The rishis (seers) point to timeless realities that we can explore in our yoga practices. Ultimately, we illuminate our inner reality and in this way discover the true potential of a Yoga Sadhana, grounded in daily effort (abhyasa) and surrender (vairagya).
